Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions About Our GutterCraft & Handyman Services
Gutter Installation
The cost depends on the size of the home, gutter size, number of downspouts, roof height, and installation complexity. We provide free estimates throughout Philadelphia and South Jersey.
Seamless gutters are custom-fabricated on-site from a continuous aluminum coil. They have fewer joints, reduce leaks, and provide a cleaner appearance than sectional gutters.
Yes. We install both 5-inch and 6-inch seamless aluminum gutters depending on your roof size and water management requirements.

Gutter Guards
For many homeowners, gutter guards help reduce maintenance, improve water flow, and prevent debris buildup. The right system depends on nearby trees, roof design, and local conditions.
We generally recommend stainless steel micro-mesh gutter guards with an aluminum frame because they provide excellent debris protection while maintaining water flow.
No. While gutter guards significantly reduce maintenance, occasional inspections and cleaning may still be required.

Gutter Repair
Yes. Many leaks can be repaired by resealing seams, replacing damaged sections, correcting pitch issues, or reinforcing loose gutters with hidden hangers.
Not always. Many sagging gutters can be restored through our Clean • Seal • Reinforce (CSR) service without requiring a full replacement.
CSR stands for Clean, Seal, and Reinforce. The service combines gutter cleaning, seam resealing, and hidden hanger reinforcement to extend the life of existing gutter systems.

Gutter Cleaning
Most homes benefit from cleaning at least twice per year, typically in spring and fall. Homes with heavy tree coverage may require more frequent maintenance.
Our gutter cleaning service typically includes debris removal, downspout flushing, gutter inspection, minor maintenance checks, and before-and-after photos.

Fascia & Soffit
Yes. In many cases we can remove and reinstall existing gutters to replace damaged fascia boards.
Fascia rot is commonly caused by overflowing gutters, leaking seams, poor drainage, and long-term water exposure.
Yes. Damaged soffit panels can reduce airflow into the attic and may contribute to moisture problems.

Downspouts
Overflowing downspouts are usually caused by clogs, undersized drainage systems, disconnected sections, or underground drain blockages.
Water should generally discharge several feet away from the foundation to help prevent erosion and basement moisture problems.
Yes. We repair and replace damaged aluminum downspouts, elbows, extensions, and underground drain connections.

Service Area
We serve homeowners throughout Philadelphia, Bucks County, Montgomery County, Delaware County, Chester County, and South Jersey.
